Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

1. Program Overview

The Hostolute Affiliate Program ("Program") allows approved affiliates ("Affiliates") to earn commissions by referring customers to Hostolute's web hosting and related services ("Services").

• Commission Rate: 10% recurring commission on all payments made by referred customers
• Cookie Duration: 30 days from the initial click on your referral link
• Payment Schedule: Monthly payouts for commissions above AED 100 minimum threshold
• Program Type: Recurring commissions for the lifetime of the customer relationship

2. Eligibility and Application

2.1 Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Hostolute Affiliate Program, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
• Have a legitimate business or professional interest in web hosting services
• Maintain professional standards in all promotional activities
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
• Not be located in a country subject to UAE trade sanctions

2.2 Application Process

• Submit a complete affiliate application with accurate information
• Hostolute reserves the right to approve or reject applications at its sole discretion
• Applications are typically reviewed within 24-48 hours
• Approved affiliates will receive login credentials and promotional materials

3. Affiliate Responsibilities

3.1 Promotional Standards

Affiliates must maintain high professional standards when promoting Hostolute services:

• Use only approved marketing materials and messaging
• Provide accurate information about Hostolute services and pricing
• Not make false, misleading, or exaggerated claims
• Clearly identify their relationship as a Hostolute affiliate when required by law

3.2 Prohibited Activities

Affiliates are strictly prohibited from:

• Spam: Sending unsolicited emails or messages
• PPC Bidding: Bidding on Hostolute brand terms in paid search advertising
• Domain Squatting: Registering domains containing "Hostolute" or similar variations
• Fraudulent Activity: Creating fake accounts, self-referrals, or manipulating tracking
• Adult/Illegal Content: Promoting services on sites with inappropriate content
• Price Misrepresentation: Advertising incorrect pricing or unauthorized discounts

3.3 Compliance Requirements

• Comply with FTC guidelines and local advertising regulations
• Include appropriate disclaimers when required
• Respect customer privacy and data protection laws
• Report any potential issues or conflicts immediately

4. Commission Structure and Payments

4.1 Commission Rates

• Standard Rate: 10% of all customer payments (setup fees, hosting fees, add-ons)
• Recurring: Commissions continue for the lifetime of the customer relationship
• Upgrade Commissions: Earn commissions on customer upgrades and additional services

4.2 Payment Terms

• Payment Schedule: Monthly payments by the 15th of each month
• Minimum Threshold: AED 100 minimum for payment processing
• Payment Methods: Bank transfer (UAE and international), PayPal (where available)
• Currency: Payments made in AED unless otherwise agreed
• Processing Time: 3-5 business days after payment initiation

4.3 Commission Tracking

• 30-day cookie duration for attribution
• Last-click attribution model
• Real-time tracking via affiliate dashboard
• Detailed reporting on clicks, conversions, and commissions

5. Intellectual Property and Brand Usage

5.1 Licensed Use

Hostolute grants affiliates a limited, non-exclusive license to use approved marketing materials for promotional purposes only.

5.2 Brand Guidelines

• Use only official Hostolute logos, banners, and marketing materials
• Do not modify logos or brand elements without written permission
• Maintain consistent brand representation across all materials
• Do not create confusingly similar branding or domain names

5.3 Restrictions

• No registration of trademarks or domains containing Hostolute marks
• No use of copyrighted materials without permission
• License terminates immediately upon program termination

6. Program Changes and Termination

6.1 Program Modifications

• Hostolute may modify program terms with 30 days' written notice
• Commission rates and structure may be updated with advance notice
• Material changes will be communicated via email and affiliate dashboard

6.2 Termination Rights

• By Affiliate: 30 days' written notice required
• By Hostolute: Immediate termination for cause, 30 days' notice otherwise
• For Cause: Violation of terms, fraudulent activity, or breach of agreement

6.3 Post-Termination

• Earned commissions will be paid according to normal schedule
• All promotional materials must be removed within 7 days
• Brand usage rights terminate immediately
• Confidentiality obligations survive termination

7. Legal Terms and Liability

7.1 Independent Contractor Relationship

Affiliates are independent contractors, not employees, partners, or agents of Hostolute. This agreement does not create any employment, partnership, or agency relationship.

7.2 Limitation of Liability

• Hostolute's liability is limited to unpaid commissions owed
• No liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Affiliates indemnify Hostolute against claims arising from their promotional activities

7.3 Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Dubai, UAE.

7.4 Tax Responsibilities

• Affiliates are responsible for all applicable taxes on commission income
• Hostolute may require tax documentation before payment
• International affiliates responsible for currency conversion and transfer fees

8. Data Protection and Privacy

8.1 Customer Data

• Affiliates may access limited customer data necessary for commission tracking
• Customer data must be kept confidential and secure
• No use of customer data for purposes other than commission verification
• Comply with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

8.2 Tracking and Analytics

• Hostolute uses cookies and tracking technologies for attribution
• Affiliates consent to data collection for program administration
• Detailed analytics provided through affiliate dashboard
